Datsun
Owned by Nissan, Datsun has had a rocky existence since its inception in 1931. Continuing their uncertain presence, Nissan is planning to scrap the Datsun line for the third time as of 2020, in a cost-saving move.
Datsun is known for producing affordable small cars and light trucks. In 1968, the automaker introduced the 240Z, which proved that sports cars can be built affordably and sold profitably. The 240Z went on to become the world’s top-selling sports car of the time.
Datsun’s current lineup includes the Go, Do, Redi-Go, and the Datsun Cross.
