Running from the cops is generally a bad idea. You end up getting your tires popped and your mouth full...
Smart
Smart is a German automotive division of Daimler AG introduced in 1998 with the cooperation of the Swatch watchmaker SMH (no, it doesn’t stand for “shaking my head,” but it should). The idea was to create a car with the same personalization features popular with the Swatch watches. The idea soon became known as the “Swatchmobile.”
Some would say maybe they should have made the actual car larger than a Swatch watch, but the vehicle was developed as a microcar from the start. Smart sales seem to be steady in countries with congested cities and limited road space.
However, the U.S. market never really took hold, and sales were discontinued in America in 2019.
