Fisker Automotive was an American automobile manufacturer, founded in 2007, that produced the world’s first plug-in hybrid luxury electric vehicle called the Karma.
Even though Fisker was on the fast track to becoming a formidable competitor to Tesla and other automakers, their business was cut short due to some unfortunate developments.
Eventually, Chinese parts company Wanxiang Group purchased the company and named it Karma Automotive. Wanxiang Group would go on to debut its version of the Karma called the Karma Revero.
