Chrysler
Chrysler’s product line is slim and will only appeal to certain buyers. Currently, Chrysler offers three minivans in the Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid, and the Voyager.
It what was once a pivotal line of K-cars for the brand, championed by the late Lee Iacocca, Chrysler offers only one car today in the 300. The company started in the 1920s, when Walter Chrysler joined three former Studebaker engineers – Fred Zeder, Owen Skelton, and Carl Breer – in designing an “affordable luxury” vehicle.
The first such vehicle appeared in 1924. The Chrysler Six, named for its six-cylinder engine, featured a number of innovations at the time: aluminum pistons, replaceable oil and air filters, full-pressure lubrication, tubular front axles, shock absorbers, and indirect interior lighting. Total MSRP for the Chrysler Six? $1,565.
